Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Ol Pejeta, lion tracking, and night game drive
Your guide will pick you up from the hotel. You will travel to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, which takes about four hours and ten minutes. Upon arrival, start your lion tracking adventure that lasts until the afternoon.
After lunch, relax at the lodge and enjoy views of the conservancy from the lodge balconies. Spend the night at the lodge.
Day 2: Guided bushwalk and ride with rhinos
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at dawn at the lodge. Then, go on a guided bushwalk in the Lodru plains where you have a good chance to see animals and birds in the conservancy. Lunch will be served at Ol Pejeta Bush Camp.
In the afternoon, take a ride with the rhinos in the Oryx plains and near the Ewaso Ngiro River in Lodru. In the evening, go to Kichecha Camp for dinner around 6:00 PM and spend the night there.
Day 3: Behind the scenes chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Nairobi
Have an early breakfast at 6:00 AM at the camp. Then travel to Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary for an exciting chimpanzee visit.
After a tasty lunch, start the journey back to Nairobi, which takes about four hours and thirty minutes, passing through Rengai Gate.
