The 4 Days Tsavo and Amboseli Parks Safari is a complete Big Five game safari tour. This short trip covers two of Kenya’s special parks, Tsavo National Park and Amboseli National Park.
Each park offers something unique. In Tsavo East, you will search for the famous red-skinned elephants, while in Amboseli, you will see large herds of elephants with beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and drive to Tsavo East
Your journey to Tsavo East National Park begins after breakfast and a short briefing. The road trip from Nairobi takes about 6 to 7 hours. On arrival, check in at the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in a 4×4 tourist vehicle. Look out for animals like cheetahs, zebras, elephants, lesser kudus, dik-diks, rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, and many others.
Day 2: Game drive and connect to Tsavo West
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive as you exit Tsavo East. Continue the drive to Tsavo West National Park.
On arrival, explore the savanna plains and enjoy wildlife sightings. Expect to see wild dogs, leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions, dik-diks, and many bird species.
Tsavo West is home to more than 600 types of birds.
Day 3: Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, set off on a 3 to 4-hour drive from Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park. On arrival, check in at the lodge and have lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive with views of Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Look out for elephants, cheetahs, lions, leopards, zebras, hyraxes, wild dogs, giraffes, jackals, gazelles, and more.
Day 4: Game viewing and departure
After breakfast, enjoy a short morning game drive to spot animals you may have missed earlier. After the drive, start the journey back to Nairobi.
You may choose to stop for shopping or head straight to the airport for your flight home.
