This 3-day tour in Tanzania takes you to explore Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Eyasi. It combines guided game viewing and cultural experiences. Discover the large caldera at Ngorongoro with a good chance to see many wild animals, especially the big game.
Ngorongoro Crater is in Northern Tanzania and is the world’s largest intact caldera. About 30,000 animals live inside the crater. These include zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, rhinos, leopards, hippos, lions, and more.
The crater is part of the larger Ngorongoro Conservation Area, which is home to 550 bird species. Most of these birds are found around Empakaai Crater Lake and Lake Ndutu.
Lake Eyasi is known as the home of the Hadzabe Bushmen. This tribal group still keeps their traditional way of life. They have lived here for over 10,000 years and live by hunting and gathering.
On this tour, you will learn about their ancient culture while visiting Lake Eyasi. The lake is on the southwest side of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
It covers about 1,050 square kilometers and is a soda lake.
