Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Serengeti and enjoy an evening game drive
You will be warmly welcomed to Tanzania and receive a short briefing about this special flying safari. Then you will fly from Arusha Airport to one of Serengeti’s airstrips.
These include Seronera, Lobo, Serengeti Kusini, Fort Ikoma, and others. After landing, you will transfer by car to your camp or lodge and have time to relax.
In the evening, enjoy a guided game drive to see wildlife as they prepare for the night.
Day 2: Full day game viewing (morning and afternoon)
With an experienced guide, you will leave the lodge for morning and afternoon game drives. During these drives, you can see animals like buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, lions, elephants, wildebeests, elands, impalas, gazelles, and many birds.
You will carry a packed lunch to enjoy during the afternoon before the next game drive begins. After a full day of wildlife viewing, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Note that the best time to see the migration crossing the Grumeti River is between June and July. The wildebeest calving season is around February.
Day 3: Fly back to Kilimanjaro or Arusha airport
After an early breakfast, meet your driver for transfer to the nearby airstrip. On the way, you may see some early-rising animals.
From Seronera or another airstrip, you will fly back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport depending on your flight schedule.
