Day 1: Transfer from Arusha to Serengeti National Park
On this day, our professional driver will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Serengeti National Park. The word Serengeti means endless plains, and the park truly lives up to this name, hosting millions of wild animals.
You will arrive around lunchtime, check in at the lodge, have lunch, and later head out for an evening game drive. Look for animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, wildebeests, and cheetahs. After watching these animals until sunset, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater
Wake up early and head out for a morning game drive when animals are most active. This is the best time to see nocturnal animals like lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, and bush babies as they finish their night activities.
You may also spot cheetahs chasing gazelles, leopards hunting impalas, or lions targeting buffaloes while birds sing from the trees. You will witness the large herds of wildebeests crossing the Grumeti River, which is the biggest animal migration in the world. This movement attracts predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, cheetahs, and vultures.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. Drive to the Ngorongoro area and arrive in the afternoon. Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Arusha – End of Safari
After breakfast, pack your luggage and check out as you head for the game drive. Visit the Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world. Enjoy the beautiful views from the top before descending 600 meters to the crater floor, where you will see many hippos, crocodiles, water birds, and butterflies.
After the game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch. Later, say goodbye to the park and drive back to Arusha for your flight back home or to your next destination.
