Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and head to Serengeti National Park
Your driver guide will pick you up at the agreed place in Arusha and start the trip to Serengeti National Park, home to many wild animals and many bird species.
The safari will begin with a briefing about your trip. You will arrive in the evening, check in to your lodge, have a hot dinner, and rest overnight.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park
Start early with a morning game drive to see early risers like lions, cheetahs, leopards, and spotted hyenas.
At sunrise and sunset, look for elephants, giraffes, zebras, oryx, gazelles, ostriches, rhinos, hippos, and crocodiles.
This full day includes watching the famous annual wildebeest migration, enjoying sunrise and sunset, having a picnic lunch, and more.
Return to your lodge for the night.
Day 3: Game drive in Ngorongoro Area
Enjoy a full day game drive with chances to see different wildlife and beautiful views. You may spot rare black rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and some wildebeests.
Other animals include impalas, hartebeests, bushbucks, and waterbucks. You will also see many bird species like vultures, kori bustards, ostriches, European swallows, kestrels, and superb starlings.
Day 4: Game drive, transfer to Arusha, and fly to Zanzibar
Have a morning game drive in Ngorongoro to catch any missed animals. After breakfast, transfer to Arusha to board a flight to Zanzibar.
Your driver will give you a briefing about this beautiful island with its clear blue waters.
You will be dropped off at your beach resort for a relaxing time.
Day 5: Stone Town, spice tour, and Forodhani food market
Visit the unique East African town of Stone Town in Zanzibar. This town was built long ago by early explorers and traders. Many buildings are made from coral stones from the Indian Ocean.
Visit local churches, the former slave market, markets, and coffee shops with a park ranger guide.
Take a spice tour to learn about different spices like ginger, coriander, broccoli, pepper, nutmeg, chili, rosemary, and cloves. You will be able to touch and taste some of them.
End the day at Forodhani Street Market, which shows real Zanzibar foods including seafood. Enjoy the sunset by the water and take great photos.
Day 6: Whole day on the beach
Have a relaxed breakfast and enjoy many beach activities like snorkeling, swimming, sunbathing, and traditional dhow cruises.
You can choose to visit the Rock Restaurant or Prison Island for a special experience.
This day will show you the true Zanzibar beach life and the clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean.
Day 7: Leisure breakfast and transfer to the airport for departure
