Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Tsavo East National Park
You will meet and be welcomed by a professional guide at your hotel in Nairobi. Begin the transfer to Tsavo East National Park, which is about a six-hour and forty-seven-minute drive.
On arrival, enjoy an evening game drive through the dry plains of Tsavo East. This will give you the chance to see different wildlife species before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Mudanda Rock and Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy
After breakfast, head to Mudanda Rock where you will enjoy a rock climbing activity and take photos of the area.
Later, transfer to Ngutuni Wildlife Conservancy for another wildlife experience. Spend the evening exploring the conservancy while spotting animals before returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast, begin the drive to Tsavo West National Park. The drive will take about two to three hours.
After lunch, go for a boat cruise on Lake Jipe. The boat cruise offers a chance to see animals like hippos and crocodiles, as well as birds like African fish eagles, turacos, secretary birds, African paradise flycatchers, yellow-billed oxpeckers, and cinnamon-chested bee-eaters. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Transfer to Nairobi
Have an early breakfast before sunrise. After the meal, go on a guided morning game drive in the Savannah plains of Tsavo West National Park to spot more animals.
At around 10:00 AM, leave the park and start the drive back to Nairobi, which will take about six hours and thirty minutes.
