Day 1: Pickup and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
On this day, your experienced driver-guide will meet and brief you at the agreed point before starting a 3 to 4-hour drive to Serengeti National Park, Tanzania’s most visited park and home to the famous annual migration of over 250,000 wildebeests, along with impalas, zebras, and gazelles searching for fresh grass and water.
There will be a stop in Arusha city to buy any needed items before continuing the journey. Enjoy great views of hills, plantations, and local villages along the way.
On arrival at Serengeti, enjoy lunch before going on an evening game drive in the Seronera region. Look out for animals like lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, and rare antelope species. After the game drive, return to the campsite for dinner and enjoy a campfire experience before resting for the night.
Day 2: Game Drive and Departure
Wake up early to the sound of birds and head out for a 3 to 4-hour morning game drive. Search for nocturnal animals and others you may have missed, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, impalas, hyenas, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, and many bird species like the Kori bustard and flamingos. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and rare tree species.
After the game drive, have a bush breakfast. Then return to camp to prepare for departure. You may also choose an optional visit to Ngorongoro Crater, the largest caldera in the world, before heading back to Arusha or to the airport or your hotel.
