Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Drive to Wilson Airport, fly to Masai Mara, and game drive

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to Wilson Airstrip. From there, you will fly to Masai Mara National Reserve.

Enjoy the view of the Rift Valley escarpment during the flight, which takes about one hour.

On arrival, you will meet your driver-guide who will take you on a game drive. Look out for animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffalos, gazelles, and wildebeests.

Enjoy a picnic lunch during the game drive and continue until sunset. Then return to the lodge to check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drive in Masai Mara

This is the day you have been waiting for. Wake up early and head out on a game drive to enjoy the best of the Mara plains. Watch the sunrise as you spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, crocodiles, giraffes, buffalos, gazelles, rhinos, and warthogs in the open grassland.

If your trip is during the migration season, you will witness the great wildebeest migration, the largest animal migration in the world. This event attracts many predators like lions, cheetahs, leopards, foxes, hyenas, and vultures.

During the day, you will visit different animal viewpoints and rocky hills called kopjes for the best views. Return to the lodge late in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and departure

On this final day, wake up early with the sun and animals to enjoy one last game drive. Look for any animals you may have missed in the sprawling plains.

After the game drive, enjoy breakfast at the lodge. Then transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, where your international flight awaits. This marks the end of your safari.
