Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
On this day, our driver will pick you up from your hotel, greet you, and explain the plan for the safari. Then you will start the trip to Lake Nakuru National Park.
The park is located at the foot of the Great East African Rift Valley.
It is home to many animals like lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, rhinos, hippos, and crocodiles.
You will also see many birds, especially flamingos along the lake shores, which always make the visit special.
On the way to the park, enjoy the views of the Rift Valley. When you arrive, start a mid-morning game drive.
You will see large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and bushbucks drinking water near the lake.
Have a picnic lunch by the lake which will refresh you. You will watch the animals until late afternoon.
Then return to the lodge to check in, have dinner, and rest overnight.
Day 2: Game drive and transfer to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and go for a morning game drive as you travel to Lake Naivasha. Look out for lions, leopards, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, gazelles, and other wildlife.
Lake Naivasha is home to more than 350 bird species, including lesser and great flamingos, warblers, and woodpeckers.
You will also see large groups of zebras, gazelles, buffaloes, hippos, and crocodiles.
Arrive at your lodge on the shores of Lake Naivasha just before lunch. Check in and enjoy your meal.
In the afternoon, take a tour to Crescent Island in the middle of the lake.
The lake is high above sea level, and its shores are crowded with hippos, flamingos, and other animals coming to drink water.
Watch the animals until sunset, then return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Game drive and transfer to Nairobi
On the last day, have an early breakfast and check out of the lodge. Go for a morning game drive to see lions, buffaloes, elephants, zebras, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and more.
Afterward, travel back to Nairobi with a stop for lunch on the way. You will be dropped off at the airport or your hotel, depending on your flight time.
